Lymphoedema is a long-term condition that occurs when the lymphatic system is not functioning as effectively as it should, resulting in a build-up of fluid and swelling. It most commonly affects the arms or legs, but can also occur in areas such as the breast, trunk, genitals, or head and neck. Lymphoedema may develop following cancer treatment, surgery, radiation therapy, infection, vascular conditions or injury, and in some cases can be present from birth (primary lymphoedema).
Dharani is an Accredited Lymphoedema Therapist with the Australasian Lymphology Association (ALA), providing comprehensive, evidence-based care for people living with lymphoedema and chronic oedema. Whether you are newly diagnosed or have been managing lymphoedema over time, Dharani delivers personalised treatment tailored to your individual needs, stage of recovery, and everyday life.

Parkinson’s disease is a progressive neurological condition that affects movement, balance, coordination and daily function. It occurs when the brain produces less dopamine, which can lead to changes in how the body moves and responds.
Exercise is a powerful and essential part of living well with Parkinson’s disease. Research shows that regular, targeted exercise can significantly improve mobility, balance, strength and overall quality of life, with growing evidence that it may also help slow the progression of symptoms.
Dharani has extensive experience working with people with Parkinson’s disease, including within the Movement Disorders Programs at Eastern Health and Monash Health (Kingston Centre), and is PD Warrior trained. She is also connected with Fight Parkinson’s and actively involved in the Victorian Parkinson’s Disease Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology Community of Practice, ensuring her care is informed by the latest research. Care is tailored to your individual needs, stage of condition, and everyday life to support you to stay independent, build confidence, and continue doing the things that matter most to you.

Lipoedema is a long-term condition that involves an abnormal build-up of fat, most commonly in the legs and sometimes the arms. It almost exclusively affects women and is thought to have a hormonal and genetic basis. The condition is often symmetrical and does not typically affect the hands or feet.
In some cases, lipoedema can progress to include fluid build-up (known as lipo-lymphoedema), particularly when the lymphatic system becomes affected. This may be further influenced by underlying conditions such as venous insufficiency.

Vestibular rehabilitation is a form of physiotherapy that supports people experiencing dizziness, vertigo and balance difficulties. It involves assessment and targeted exercises designed to help the body adapt to changes in the vestibular (inner ear) system, improve balance, and reduce symptoms that affect everyday movement and function.
Vestibular rehabilitation is provided for conditions such as Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) and vestibular neuritis and labyrinthitis (also referred to unilateral vestibular hypofunction).
Dharani provides thorough assessment and evidence-based vestibular rehabilitation, including specific repositioning manoeuvres for BPPV and progressive exercises to retrain the vestibular and balance system.
